I attended ECAP training in the Summer of 2010. I had just finished a whole year of substitute teaching at FWISD. I was ready to learn all of the ins and outs, all of the tips and tricks, and gain as much advice as possible to be prepared for my days in the classroom.
My trainings were actually at my old middle school. So for the next few weeks, I was going to be learning something new each day. Each day there was a new topic with several great speakers with several years of experience. I can't remember any day where I didn't take something important away or got a good idea. I was in a room with several awesome people working and sharing ideas. The weeks went by fast.
I had so much fun. I wouldn't mind going back and sitting in a few more sessions. I'm sure there's more that I could I learn.
