This process started back in 2009. I had just started substituting and was making my rounds at several schools enjoying my days in the classroom. I bumped into a buddy of mine who was in the same position the previous year, only now he was a full time teacher. I asked him about the process. It seemed simple enough. And just like those commercials, it all started with a phone call.
There was really nothing to it. I gathered and delivered all necessary items for consideration. Within a few weeks, I got a letter that had my orientation date.
